As long as it is not a reward ticket, you should be be able to EUA on the domestic portions.

I have never been EUA'd on domestic portion, when I try to upgrade to BF -- don't know if same situation holds for straight reward ticket. Domestic upgrade usually comes shortly after BF upgrade clears, but not always. If I don't get it beofre 5 days in advance, then I don't get it. Called once two weeks out, and was told (we know how reliable these phone agents can be) that if I was placed on Platinum upgrade list for EUA, I would be charged the 20,000 uograde miles even if the BF segment doesn't clear.
Would like to know about others' experience with this also, either reward ticket or upgrade reward.
