If you do CAI-SYD via LHR on BA you will
(a) being taking one hell of a detour for no reason
(b) be charged 20% (iirc) extra for exceeding the MPM and
(c) if you stopover in LHR, then it will be classed as a higher intermediate point and the fare will soar
