I assume that this plane dosent have WTP because its an Qantas plane or does it have similar class ?

The $300 fare upgrade, is it always available on all flights from WT to WTP ? Where can i find information about the platinum challange ?

Many questions from a newbie

/Mitko

BA7372 will not have WT+ since it is actually a QF plane. You would need to switch to a genuine BA flight such as BA15 or BA17. If you have booked one of the One World Around the World fares, then the fare allows for the booking in T class ( WT+) on BA flights for a supplement of USD300 per sector. As long as there is T class then it is available

There is a lot of info on the Platinum challenge. Briefly, as it would relate to this,

In order to complete the challenge and get Platinum Status with AA, you need to earn 10,000 points within 3 months

Travelling BA WT+ will earn 1.5 points per mile flown. Since LHR-SIN is greater than 6667 miles (6765 miles) that one sector will complete the challenge. Benefits of AA Platinum status include 100% bonus on FF miles, business class check in ( First when travelling AA ) and lounge access. The challenge can be started on the 1st or 16th of any month

If started on dates from 1Jan - 1Jun, then the status will be valid till 1 March the following year. e.g. started on 1 June 2005, status is valid till 1 March 2006
If started on dates from 16Jun onwards then the status will be valid till 1 March the year after e.g. started on 16 June 2005, status is valid till 1 March 2007
