Has anyone used the "Standy" feature when doing Online Check-In? On the last couple of flights I've tried to use it in hopes of changing the interim routing. In one case the idiot corporate booking system created an unnecessary 5 hour layover in IND and the other I was hoping to move to flights with more FC seats.

In both cases when I tried to use the OLCI the Standy gave me a message that it couldn't be used. When I got to the gate the Agent was able to take care of the re-routing with no fees.

Anyone used this funciton - maybe I have a bad impression on what its supposed to do.
