I bet you whomever is in charge of assessing these places has no idea about sites like Tripadvisor, they probably just inspected once & gave the guy advanced notice - and probably collected a few hundrend pounds off the taxpayer to keep their office going for the bother.

Definitely something needs to be done, there's hundreds of places like this in London, especially when you add in the 'hotels' taking in illegal immigrants & unemployed at £300/week off the Govt.

Reason came to mind is that my brother's sister-in-law is coming over from Oz next week for 4 nights, with absolutely no knowledge of hotels/websites etc. - you wonder what kind of hell-hole/tourist trap she'd have wound up in by relying on b.s./fraudulent wesbites such as the one above recommending it, had I not helped (thnx to the BOGOF link )
