We used the check-in kiosks last May. We weren't given a choice. First agent checked our name off of a list, handed us a receipt (I think) and directed us to the machine. The second AA agent stood at the machine and pushed all the buttons for us. Either he didn't trust us to pick the right selections or he wanted to speed up the whole process, not sure which. It was a very efficient check in. But, BP's printed out with SSSS. So, on our way out of the AC, we stopped and asked a queston about our connections and ended up getting our BP's reprinted because, oops , I'd spilled orange juice on them.
