Well for starters... back in 2000 Canada and Spain had not yet legalized same sex marriage... So yes the world has changed... It was also a safer place.. Mr. Clinton's foreign policy was not aggressive towards other nations... I don't think we can say the same today.
Mr. Clinton tried to bring about change especially with Gays in the military but he had to compromise in order to get the bill passed. Don't ask don't tell.
He was forward thinking... I have a different view from outside the USA. I think most foreign FT'ers share the same view. Just look at who posted and what they posted....
As I mentioned before I don't think any pins of any sort should be placed on any uniforms PERIOD.
