CDG Kiosks Users Must See Security FIRST
The check-in kiosks at CDG are meant to replace using a ticket agent for check-in but passengers are expected to see a security agent for screening/interview before (or even after) using self-service check-in. The security agent stamps the ticket receipt to show that the passenger has been security cleared and at boarding the receipt with stamp needs to be shown along with the boarding pass.
There is no escaping the security line- well not without the hassle encountered at the gate for not having a security stamped ticket receipt in addition to boarding pass.
