I am currently holding 2 awards seats in UC for next July 11 from LHR to WAS. I'm trying to change to the LHR-JFK flight that is earlier in the day, at 9:30am so as to get home to my final destination earlier. These award seats are with Delta Skymiles. I've been calling Delta almost every day for over 2 weeks and am told there is only 1 award seat available in UC. What gives? When I made the original booking a month ago all the flights were available. Now all of a sudden they are gone. Does this have anything to do with Delta's bankruptcy?
I'd always heard it was easy to get award seats on Virgin.
