I've stayed at the IC jakarta about 10 times.
While its not really a 5 star, it is satisfactory, but I have a few constant gripes.

First, they only have high speed internet available on 2 floors of the hotel.
You have to specifaclly ask for it; and it also does not work very well.
They give you a 24 hour prepaid card with login name and PW, and the service
is flaky; so you have to continually sign in every time it disconnects.

Second, they hose you on exchange. Although rates are usually quoted in
USD, they bill in IDR at an inflated exchange rate. So if, for example, your rate
was $100 , and the real exchange rate is 10,000 IDR/ $1, they will put their
retail exchange rate of maybe 11,000 on your bill - that is charge you 1,100,000 IDR.
