I'm thinking that if it's possible, BKK would be fun. I'm having one heck of a time getting the NWA calendar to work. Basically it shows a bunch of dates in april with may returns that have both cabins available but when I select those dates and click search, it comes back and says it can't find anything.

Partners generally don't show up on NWA.com - you have to call in. It's a peeve around here since they charge to use a phone agent (I think it's waved for plats) but that should greatly open up the options.
Air Tahiti, IIRC, runs A340s now... I could be wrong but I do remember reading about them flying JFK-PPT-SYD or something like that. I think PPT-LAX-CDG is also on an A340. I think they're gearing up to be a larger airline than just some regional thing.
It's also been a dream of mine to sit upper deck... i'm hoarding miles for some flights in the future and a prereq is to sit upper deck.
