WFB doesn't seem to be in every Marriott or Renaissance.

About 6 weeks ago, I stayed at the Charlotte Airport Renaissance Suites....signed up for WFB...made some local and long distance calls and was charged for them...went down to the front desk to complain and the clerk (who said she was new) on duty said "yep, you made long distance calls and got charged for them."

So I went up to my room and took the little card on the desk in the plastic holder that said "Wired for Business...free internet, free local calls, free long distance in the 48 states...$9.95" and brought it down to the front desk and showed it to the same clerk...she had to ask someone else who said "yes, the local and long distance calls are free with WFB" and he took it off my bill.

Unfortunately, when I went to check out, I had made a few more calls and was charged for them again. When I stopped by the front desk to complain to the same clerk, she came back with the same "I'm new here..." at which point I told her that we had already been through this exercise once before this morning...and since I was getting a ride to the airport I didn't have time to wait for a revised bill but wanted it credited off. When I checked my charge card, the correct amount was charged without the long distance.

I later emailed the GM who apologized and gave me some extra MR points, but it really bothered me that the hotel seemingly charges for local and long distance even when you sign up for WFB.
