After reading the article (and others), along with the letters from the mechanics, it seems that the AS crews have done there job, identified issues and pulled the aircraft out of service until fixed. The article read a bit misleading.
The problems seem to be caused by the maintenance company, although as accurately noted in the article the respective FARs put the responsibility even for outsourced maintenace on the airline.
Thoughts?
As well it should be the airline's ultimate responsibility. Who else would you suggest? The passenger?
