There are some other Renassiance properties about ~30km away in Gifu city.
The marriott is booked, but any platinum member can do a platinum override for you, provided you both make up the same story (I always use, "I will be arriving very late, but my brother-in-law, finance, maid, personal shoe shiner, whatever "Mr./Ms. whatever" will be checking in my room so it is available).
