Hi,

Assuming you can get your bags checked straight thorugh ( and dropping them after customs- I have heard that AA only allows check in at 4 hours prior to dep -which you should be close to after clearing customs) you should be able to spend some time in BOS.

I do not think there is a left luggage facility ( or lockers since 9/11) but there is a Hilton at the airport which is between Terminal E (BA) and the AA terminal.
