Me and my gal are going to KOA traveling PHL-DEN-HNL then KOA-ORD-PHL early this November all on UA metal using 35k awards with US miles. I got the awards about 329 days in advance. I had to "settle" for traveling a day earlier than I desired both out and back, and was forced to island hop to get to KOA (using UA's 5000 mile inter-island award ^ ). In spite of all that 10 days in paradise is still 10 days in paradise
