this is a great point. The open source community recognizes and publishes the flaws, which are fixed in no time. Contrast to a monthly "patch Tuesday" where you really don't know what you are installing, nobody's looked at the source code outside Microsoft, and you have no peer reviewed community looking at the code.

I really think Microsoft is doomed. And I'm not kidding. This is just the beginning...

I still used Mozilla suite and I have been delighted with it. Everyone assumes everyone uses Outlook, but I haven't in years. Mozilla has an excellent email client and I use ACT! for contact management anyway. By avoiding IE and Outlook I have I think successfully avoided any spyware and virus issues (knock on wood.)

It is quite shocking that Microsoft's standard browser is so poor.
