While reading the "Most flights in a day" thread, and checking out the Guinness record page , I noticed an entry for Fastest Circumnavigation On Scheduled Flight, 44h06m set in 1980.

I'm wondering with today's super longhauls such as SQ's SIN-EWR and JFK-FRA-SIN, wouldn't this record be easily broken now?
