QF J seating is considerably better for tall pax (while BA is better if under about 5'11"). Same miles earned on Aadvantage for either BA or QF, same lounge access, so it boils down to flight times and cabin comfort. Prior to last year BA would have won, now QF is better with their refurbished planes and new J seats and service. Even the food/wine is better on QF now on this route (I flew BA F BKK-LHR a couple of weeks ago and will stick to QF from now on, having learned my lesson).
