Just outside the airport, there is baggage room service. You have to get out of the airport and it is right there across the road. Ask any porter or airport personnel and they would be able to point you towards that. They are open 24 hours, I did use this service in Dec 2002. They are reliable and the charges as far as I remember were quite nominal.

I would be in DEL in Jan '06 and also looking forward to using that service.
