Just announced hours ago on the Continental website:

Beginning January 1, 2004, the amount of miles and segments/ points awarded toward Elite status for travel on Continental and select partners will change for certain fare classes. You will continue to earn full credit towards Elite status by booking on continental.com throughout 2004. Additionally, revisions have been made to our mileage upgrade policy relative to BusinessFirst and Series 0 upgrade rewards.

I read flyertalk for grins... I think some of the CO whiners are out of touch, but this focused effort to punish loyal flyers who mix business and pleasure travelon a single airline is simply unacceptable.

Please keep raising the issue with CO Onepass until they admit that this was as stupid as changing COKE!
