Brilliant thread! Amazes me how folk can be so rude and arrogant and have such preconceptions!

Only tale I have was a ski holiday last year flying from EDI-GVA on some yucky charter. There were 12 in the group and after take off I joined a friend who had been seated in an Emergency Exit A seat. The chap in the C seat was really annoyed I had sat there. Didn't realise that you only got an Emergency Exit seat if you had stumped up extra cash.
