MIA really only has one terminal, with lots of concourses. However, IIRC you can't necessarily get from one concourse to another without having to exit landside and then re-clear security to go airside again. But you should be able to get from concourse A (which is where the BA lounge is) to at least concourse B without having to exit security.
Flew from MIA today and was pleased to see that you can go from E to A with no security. OK, it's a LONG hike but it's still an improvement.
One area in real need of improvement was the First lounge. Boiling hot, only papers from Chile (I kid you not), no internet access and no television. Basically a smelly little white room that was empty because everyone tried (in vain) to escape the heat by going to the C side.
