I have seen a number of posts here which have letters protesting the change indicating to CO how many miles they have flown and intended to fly.

If I may humbly point out that while the number of miles flown may be a sign of virility in FT, it is of very little direct impact in the airline corporate world.

If you intend to write/call CO about this change, I suggest that you only talk in terms of dollars spent and intended to be spent but for the change regardless of how much it is. It would also help to note if you are even an occasional high-fare or premium cabin traveler which will get them in the guts.

It is much more compelling when CO notices the threatened dollar losses adding up than number of miles not flown adding up.

Just a suggestion.
