Being ill in the air is not fun. This thread reminds me of a trip to Manila a few months ago. Had been to a rather good party the night before, woke up the next morning after about three hours sleep feeling absolutely wrecked and needing to get to Heathrow having left the car in another city 10 miles away.
After finding the car, I somehow managed to drive up to Heathrow, was sick three times in the Terminal 2 toilets pre-departure, left my AC card in the Lufthansa lounge, and generally looked like a sweating mess... the first flight out of Heathrow was probably the worst I've ever experienced. Never again!
Similar to others I *need* to have an aisle seat in Y. Not that I've experienced many mad dashes to the toilets, but I have this mild clastrophobic thing and hate not being able to get out of my seat without moving two people. The thought of long-haul stuck in a window or even worse middle seat actually fills me with dread.
