I'll be traveling with my father and four other relatives to Europe with an overnight at Heathrow.

First, I have Platinum status, so I am hopeful that my room will be upgraded to an executive room. Do any of these (or any other renovated rooms) offer two single beds rather than a queen or king?

Also, are the junior suites that much nicer than the executive rooms?

How does this hotel compare to the Crowne Plaza? I can get a lower rate via Priceline or Hotwire at this hotel but will then give up my Starwood credit and benefits.
