Exactly - the angle of the safety seat depends on the type of seat in the car. We had the most trouble getting the safety seat into midsized sedans (like most rental cars!) because many of the ones we rented had a deep, indented area where the passenger's tush would go - that tilted the infant seat at a bad angle for baby's neck.
