I find this story sad and as a British Citizen I can say that I am ashamed of my fellow countrypeople in this case. They should treat our guests better than this when they arrive in the UK. Although I have not lived in the UK for many years and hold dual citizenship, I follow events in the UK closely. Over the years the UK has been heading towards becoming a police state with treatment of people like this, CCTV Cameras everywhere, terrorist legislation that takes away peoples rights, pending national ID Cards, etc., etc. I doubt it will get any better, and most likely will get worse.

Sorry your friend was treated so badly and I apologize on behalf of my fellow countrypeople.
