I think that I already know the answer to this....

Last week I made a reservation via Delta.com for my trip home to PHL (from SAN) to help celebrate my Dad's 60th Birthday.

The fare was $347 and change. More than I normally pay, but decent enough for a trip planned fewer than 21 days in advance.... as flights to PHL are often north of $400.

I went out to the website just now and the price for the identical itinerary is $293.80. *grumble*

So I called Delta Airlines to see what can be done.

The answer: Nothing.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. Right now the first word that comes to mind is defeated.

So folks? Am I out the $50?
