I'm plat now, but not a high-fare plat by any means. I also have a very low flown mileage balance this year, and will not make plat again.

I figure the best thing I can do with my status, before it expires, is to apply for comped status on some other carriers, maybe AA or UA or both.

Anyone know how I can best do this, and if my plat status alone will get the comp? What level at AA or UA might I get?
