I had various UA employees notice my odd routing. The first was "helping" me check-in with the EasyChicken machine and was aghast at the number of BPs the machine was printing.
But the next (SFO RCC) was just amused.... "Are you trying to do 100 segments before Oct 1st?"
And the last (LAX UX CSR), "You've been doing some flying today I see. Are you trying to get segments or miles?"
Apparently enough people do MRs that a significant fraction of UA employees have seen pretty ridiculous routings now. We're still a tiny minority, so I think most employees are just amused when they see such a PNR.
