There are
two, actually.
The first one (UA 171) leaves at 6:20, so the inbound has to in mightily early to be able to squeak into that one
...
The second one (UA 75) leaves at 7:45... as it gets into SFO at 11:08, had the OP taken this flight his average would have been better (even with more time on the ground in BOS)...
FWIW, I did that return last year once. And I also did an SFO-JFK-SFO with only 20 minutes on the ground at JFK (last year, as well).
