I flew AA839 today from YUL to DFW and when I checked in everything appeared normal on my BP. When I got to security though, I was pulled aside and told I was selected for secondary screening and I got the full treatment.
When they were done, the security guy went down a preprinted sheet of paper and found my name on it and wrote the time of the secondary screening. There appeared to be quite a few names on this list.
Are they now not prewarning you on your boarding pass when you are slated for the full monty with SSSS?

I noted you were flying from Montreal, there the system is Random and not based on how ther ticket was booked, ticketed and payment method, unlike the USA so there is no SSSS system in Canada as far as I am aware.
