chicaloca, i went thru a divorce myself several years ago and my ex (wife) wanted 50% of all my miles. It depends on each program rules. AMEX MR will split them by providing copies of divorce certificate, etc. She actually did the motions as I really didn't want to lose 'em. Some of the airlines programs will refuse to split them.
