As much as I'd love to write about my experiences flying on the latest addition to the AC fleet, this contribution will have to do because I have no flights planned on CR7's or ERJ's. Have you all enjoy it just the same.

Pre-boarding
OLCI last night for the first time. I like it! Seems to save time. Looking forward to sleeping in an extra 15 mins. Alarm goes at 0455 hrs. Arrive at YOW one hour later. Park on P2 level near the bridge to the terminal. No line for the kiosks, although one of the two in the US departures area is down. Reprint boarding pass at kiosk. No line for doc check. No line for security. No line for US pre-clearance. Flight boarded on time. Pinch me.

On-board experience
Had pre-selected 8C because 8A was empty at time of reservation. It was still empty for the flight, which was about two thirds full. Lots of newspapers and room to read my Ottawa Citizen thanks to the empty seat. Seat pitch: plenty. Recline: none! Fin 854 has a snazzy, jazzy paintjob, but it has a tired interior.

FA was perfectly bilingual, courteous and pleasant. She offered BOB service, but I didn’t see anyone take her up on the selection of muffins, etc.

We arrived early and waited for the gate to clear before taxiing in and deplaning. Ground handlers had the sky check bags waiting at the door before we deplaned.

Celebrity sightings
Architect Moshe Safdie (up front in row 2). I recognized him because his picture was in the newspaper I read during the flight (see above).
My dentist and his wife (row 4 or 5)

Logan RCC
Not too busy. The coffee is hot, but the mini bagels are dry as usual. They have yogurt! Most annoying thing is that the wifi connection keeps dropping out. I’ll be here until 1100 hrs today and then off for a meeting before catching another DH1 back to YOW this evening.
