Well, the reports showed clearly that it was a pilot`s error, revealed some strange training methods on AA as well...
The A 320 had its fair share of blame but at the end of the day the pilots are the main reason for airplane accidents, so if a proactive system can prevent pilot`s errors it is certainly in everybodies interest.
On a newer Airbus the AA pilot would have not been able to crash the airplane at Jamaica, NY....
