I used to work at an airport and the monitors were always wrong for every airline.

My job was picking up crews, and the WN website (and pretty much every other airline, too) was more or less always on the money.

Perhaps your plane was on time but late arriving to the gate for some reason, like a ground stop, late push on an earlier plane, or one of the many other things that make air travel so much fun.
