Delta Air Lines' vaunted SimpliFares program is getting more complicated
Little article in the business section of USA Today by James Pilcher, Cincinnati Enquirer:
Delta Air Lines' vaunted SimpliFares program is getting more complicated.
Delta has made it harder to get its cheapest fares on many routes.
It's now requiring a Saturday night stay or a three-night minimum stay for those fares, according to statements to the federal bankruptcy court.
Delta told the court that the changes, which began earlier this month, would boost revenue by as much as $35 million annually.
The company stressed however that Delta is still committed to the concept of simpler fares
