Makes me believe that JetBlue has very professional flight crews. The pilot in this case was AWESOME in my opinion. Airbus is another story: I haven't been too crazy about Airbus since the tail snapped off of the American Airlines plane back in 2001. This latest incident didn't exactly revive my desire to run out and jump on board one of their planes.
I was rather impressed that the front landing gear stayed attached to the plane during the landing. It must have been under incredible stress.
This incident can only be plus for JetBlue. It received hours of nationwide primetime TV coverage for free and the spectacular landing can only leave people with a positive impression.
