This said, I strongly suspect Jet Blue did not abey by the FAA's (mandatory) airworthiness directive. This was the fourth such case on record... Supposedly fixed since 1999.
I'm sure an equally skilled pilot at the controls of a 737 could have accomplished the same result as JB 292. Just as a lesser pilot in a 320 could have broke the nose gear off.
