Hi everyone! After reading peter11's report (great one by the way ^ ) on his trip to SIN and BKK flying SQ in F I was wondering if it is possible to replicate his experience flying out from the east coast. I'm in Washington DC and I would like to start planning a trip over to BKK for Thanksgiving (2006). The questions that I have are:

1) Is it possible to get an F award on SQ flying out from IAD/DCA/BWI or should I go to JFK/EWR and catch SQ25 from there?
2) Can I expect the same level of service on this flight compared to SQ11 out of LAX?
3) Would be the full Thanksgiving week (including both weekends) enough to visit BKK and SIN?
4) Should I start this year checking award availability?
5) Any other tips/comments are welcome !!!

Thanks in advance and I hope I can experience the pleasure of flying in F (will be my first time ever!!).
