Interesting responses. At a quick glance, it appears I paid the highest amount per MQM of the posters. Anyone pay more than 9.3¢ per MQM to achieve Platinum?

I propose that DL reward on $$$ spent, rather than MQMs. Just dump the MQMs all together. Once you spend $2500 you'll make Silver, once you pay $5000 you'll make gold, Platinum would come at $7500 and maybe open up one more tier for $15,000. I'm jealous of those of you who made PM spending less than $4,000, that's incredible. But can Delta really survive rewarding us as a PM flyer when we've paid them peanuts? Even I think I've gotten away with something at the $6900 level. I could be totally wrong with this... thoughs?
