How do you figure that?

I could have earned the equivalent status level on American or Continental for even less money had I decided to switch to them at the beginning of the year as every trip that I took would have cost a bit less on either of those carriers than what I paid to fly on Delta.

And considering how AA and CO are doing even when offering such low fares........

However, I simply preferred to stick with Delta.
