Looking at Honolulu as a possible honeymoon getaway come January 3rd. I see HP will have it's non stop going. Can I use miles to upgrade from my coach ticket to confirm in F? If so, how many miles to do so? Can I do this at the time of booking? I'm also assuming that elites won't be privvy to *complimentary, space available ugrades* correct?
Do other airlines that have comp upgrades for elites also not do this (e.g., NW, AA, US, DL).
I wonder if the 752 F service on these flights will differentiate themselves at all from let's say a PHX-MSP flight. More chix caesar and tortellini?
