I also assume we're speaking of US properties. I have been charged different nightly rates in London. The Conrad there charged me a lower rate on Sunday than on Mon/Tues. Same reservation.
Likewise for me booking a stay in UK on www.hilton.co.uk - automatically got different rates for each night and no need to check out and in repeatedly.
