I have often observed the personnel at the x-ray machines too. I found the agents in Miami and LAX the worst so far.

And a few times the agent stopped to look at the screen with my bag inside the x-ray, squinted, looked at me and then let me go. If something seemed strange, wouldn't that require a search?
