I was on a Southwest flight a few days ago and the FA begged and practically yelled until the folks in the exit row would pay attention to the special exit-row briefing. I found it rather bizarre. Was there some kind of edict from the FAA after the Toronto crash and evacuation, that exit row pax must be forced to pay attention?
