Another one of my favourites is the Brandenburger Hof - it's a rather small (82 rooms), individiua hotel, member of the Relais and Chateaux Group. Its the most quiet and peaceful hotel in the city, perfect to relax after a long day of work.
I just came back from Berlin last week, and did try the new Radisson SAS with the world's largest indoor aquarium going up into their 7 story atrium. I was very pleasantly surprised. While the public areas are not as grand as either the Adlon or the RC, the rooms are nicely done and extremely quiet. It looks unimposing from the outside, modern and spartan chic on the inside. All rooms have flat panel tv, broadband access inlcuded (wired or wireless). Fitness center and pool area are small but fine. Go for the business club rooms which give you the best view (over the river towards Unter den Linden), breakfast, robes, in-room movies all included.
