I booked two award tickets for Europe mid September. Same itinerary; CO miles for one ticket and NW for the other. CO metal outbound; NW inbound. 50000 mile standard awards.
Tax with NW was $70; CO $40

Investigation showed that NW was charging for $30 french governemnt tax that CO was not charging.
