That's really disappointing to hear about the Singapore location. Friends and I frequent Lawry's in Chicago monthly. I'd definitely try contacting the corporate HQ to let them know of your experience. If nothing else for them to ensure the attitude problem, if it's a consistent one, is remedied. While I'm not surprised that they wouldn't pay for cleaning your dress, per se, I would be surprised if they didn't offer some form of compensation in a fair amount.
